Passion for shoes runs in the family ...

Just recently, my sister, bought this pair of killer heels, Lana Platform from Jeffrey Campbell online, according to her, these heels are called, gravity defying curves heels! Of which, I totally agree!

And a few days later, my brother, bought himself,, his second pair of Dr. Martens, from here!

And as he was discussing his online purchases with my sister, via the iPhone group chat whatsapp application, I casually commented, anyone buying me shoes too fo rmy birthday present?

And so, they bought me, this multi-coloured brogue from here!

Thank you, dearest sister and brother! LOLx

And since, these 3 pairs of shoes were all bought online, all three of us, have been waiting very patiently to the shoes to arrive!

My sister's Lana shoes was the first to arrive Malaysia, but it was detained by the Malaysian custom, waiting for custom clearance. So, it was my brother's Dr Martens, to reach him first!

But till now, there was still NO news about my shoes!

I hope all three of us can receive our shoes by this weekends, so that we all can showcase them at our dinner gathering on the coming Labour Day! :)

A little about Obedient Sons & Daughters

Swain Hutson founded Obedient Sons in 2002.

After working in the industry in production and as a design assistant for many years,

Swaim decided to experiment on his own.

The menswear collectionat that time lent itself to a casual heritage including tees, button-fronts and twill pants.

Obedient Sons continued to grow and Swaim relocated the brand to New York to then re-launch the label is 2007 with structure and Swaim's wife, Christina Hutson as design partner.

His focus turned to classic tailoring for men and then women to follow.

First women collection was introduced on Fall 2008.

I can't agree more!

Just the other day, as I was out window shopping with a few friends, I put on a tunic, and it was hilarious!

This skin-coloured tunic, is made in some kind of Lycra-polyester material, soft and very simple cut!

Because it was hang together with the male collection, and so I thought, it must be the shop owner's eccentric idea for gender-neutral fashion! But to be very frank, I have no idea is this tunic was hung by mistake or it was indeed the owner's eccentric fashion idea! Anyhow, without thinking twice, I tried it! But too bad, it was a little too small for my size, hence the drapes were a little off-putting!

But I like the idea, of purposely hanging women's clothes on male's rack! Then should anything goes wrong, we can always blame on the shop for hanging female collection in the wrong gender rack!!
Hahaha..

Just like style.com mentioned, “Women have more options. Their collections explore different shapes, fabrics, prints, colors, proportions. Menswear collections don’t go there.” This is exactly my sentiments why I tried out that tunic without thinking twice!
